Singa me a Songza

I absolutely need ambiance in my office while I work. Sometimes it’s podcasts. Sometimes it’s the news. But most of the time it’s music.

Spotify has been my go to application to download my favorite songs of the moment and sing along, but in the office I don’t want to be distracted by my favorite lyrics. I want to jam. Get my groove on.

So Songza has been absolutely perfect. Instead of spending all this time to get the perfect playlist together to listen while I work, I can pick my mood and genre of music and Sonza does the rest. Best music app idea ever! Here are my favorite playlists to listen to while I work:

Julius Caesar Popped My Shakespeare Cherry

You may know that one of my 101 items to do before 30 was to see a Shakespeare play. I’ve seen some fun productions before, but nothing by the Royal Shakespeare Company or any other legit productions like that.

Lucky for me, Julius Caesar came to our town at the Southern Theatre and I pounced on getting tickets. It was such a cool show. Set in contemporary Africa, the modern twist still had very authentic Shakespeare dialogue. I just loved it!

Sexual Soccer. Another @Columbusland shoot goes awry. [VIDEO]

So likely the end of what’s already a nonexistent career for me happened at the Columbusland shoot this week. Some sexual innuendos. Followed by Wolf Starr playing drums… poorly. Then a soccer game. Columbusland vs. Frankie Hejduk.

My 1st Cavities [VIDEO]

So here’s something exciting. This week I got my first ever cavities filled.

I’ve probably had them for awhile, but the point is I’ve never had cavities before, like growing up. I was always the good kid that didn’t need a follow up appointment after my cleaning. My sister on the other hand…

Since this was an item on my 101 in 1001 days list, I thought it would be funny to record my experience. So, you can go ahead and be pretty impressed with me because not only did I take 5 fillings and 6 novacaine shots like a champ, I was holding a camera for it all.

And I laughed without laughing gas. Come at me, bro. I’m amazing.
